Under what circumstances would you change your rating of a book?

I do most of my reviews based on my initial impressions upon finishing reading the book. Yet, some books really stay with you.

I feel guilty that I only gave The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden a rating of 4/5. I think about this book several times a week and most of the books I’ve read since then have not been even close to written as beautifully. The story really transported me to another world, how dare I give it such a paltry rating? I think I was mad that I loved it so much.

I think I should go back and update my review. What do you think?
