Merry Day-After Christmas! I hope you all had a good holiday!
For the actual day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… a new Kindle Oasis and 3 Derek Storm stories (from Richard Castle from the TV show Castle) and The Stone Mattress by Margaret Atwood.
I was tagged by Siobhan at Siobhan’s Novelties a few days ago.
Anticipation | The Christmas excitement is real. What book release are you most anticipating?
I am most excited about the Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden.

Christmas Songs and Carols | What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?
Madeline Miller. I recently read Circe and the Song of Achilles and I LOVED them both. This author is truly masterful in bringing these greek myths to life.
Gingerbread Houses | What book or series has wonderful world building?
The world in Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series felt really well developed and thought out. I would love to visit there.

A Christmas Carol | Favorite classic or one that you want to read
I love everything by Jane Austen, I can’t pick just one.

Christmas Sweets | What book would you love to receive for Christmas
Heh. I’m obviously a little late on this tag. I love what I already received for Christmas but if I could have one more I would ask for Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor.

Candles in the Window | What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling?
Warm fuzzy feeling. Most of the books I read are about the world ending or some other large calamity. Hmm…. I’m going to have to go with a children’s book for this one. My favorite book to read to the kids lately is Hooray for Birds by Lucy Cousins

Christmas Trees and Decorations | What are some of your favorite book covers?
Oh. There are SO many beautiful books out there. I’m currently reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah and it is very nice to look at.

Christmas Joy | What are some of your favorite things about Christmas and/or some of your favorite Christmas memories?
These are a few of my favorite things: Christmas cookies, decorating the tree, cinnamon rolls, opening presents. My least favorite part is buying presents because I am terrible at knowing what to get people.
Tag Time!
Well, since I was supposed to do this before Christmas I guess I’m too late to tag anyone. Feel free to post a link in the comments if you already did this tag!
