To Kill A Mockingbird – Harper Lee

Oh my gosh I can’t stop eating cookies, and it has nothing to do with the book.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This book is a very exciting book following a 6-year-old girl through a few years of her life. The period takes place before World War II in an old town in Alabama. The little girl focuses her story telling on a few key events that helped shape her and her brother.

I can definitely understand why this book gets chosen to be read in school, as it raises a lot of questions about society’s behavior as well as general morality. I thought the story was well told and was interesting through out the book. I found the characters believable and loveable and some of them even inspiring.

Reason read: We are reading this book in this months book club, and we are reading Go Set a Watchmen next month.

Up Next: Shadow of Night – Deborah Harkness (A Discover of Witches – Book 2).
